Ariel has become a toddlersaurus. Here's my proof:
She walks around all day roaring like a dinosaur, or a lion - depending on who you ask. She will scare you with her roars - watch out!
She has become quite a dangerous creature. If you pick out the wrong outfit, sweatshirt, pair of shoes, toothbrush, or even look at her the wrong way, or at someone else for that matter, you may be reprimanded by: a sharp look, a verbal warning, pinchy claws or even worse, experience a complete dino-sized melt down. And, whatever you do: do not sing unless she says so.
As it once happened to the ancient dinos, so to does my toddlersaurus's world come to an end if you try and take her bathing suit off before bed. Nevermind that we aren't going to the beach today and that it's minus 16 outside. Nevermind that you are dirty and so is that bathing suit. Nevermind all of that.
Do not try to follow the logic of the toddlersaurus either; because, though she is a highly evolved, intelligent animal, her brain is not yet fully formed.
So far, I've read and learned of her species that if you take proper care to provide a loving, nurturing home - without judgement or sudden movements - the toddlersaurus will recede from her fits of rage and carry on colouring.
I wouldn't trade my toddlersaurus for anything else in the world: she's my favourite pet, along with my Baby T(eething)-Rex. BE careful - she bites!
Oh! Did I neglect to mention the Toddlersaurus is no match for the Mommy-saurus? :)
This isn't a dinosaur at all! It's our friend Melanie and her beautiful new baby Oscar - congrats Melanie and Jesse! :)
Toddlersaurus in her natural habitat
Don't make a sound. She'll hear you. She's listening.
Toddlersaurus in full camouflage, rockin' her new shoes and sunglasses. Her bright colours ward off predators.
Cue sunglasses
Taa-dah!
Daddysaurus calming the Teething Rex with invigorating drops and swings
The Teething Rex in full swing - on the attack!
Toddlersaurus responding
Today's a new day, and Toddlersaurus greets it with a smile (and a pair of sunglasses!)
I love my toddlersaurus!
