4 months and 4 years

Penelope, at 4 months old:

- likes to watch me eat

- cries when other people hold her

- talks to me

- laughs

- falls asleep on stroller runs

- is trying to roll over

- sucks her thumb

- jumps in her jolly jumper

- stands up on her own, when straddling my leg

- tolerates being in a baby carrier, but only if I dance

- takes long naps, and sleeps well at night (usually)

- melts my heart with her smile

Elyse, at 4 years old:

- knows her alphabet in French and English

- knows the words to most Peppa Pig epidsodes

- likes to JUMP

- can put on her shoes

- walks to and from Kindergarten

- loves to eat Rice Krispies and Smarties

- loves to play outside

- clears her dishes from the table

- soothes her baby sister

- has clear opinions, thoughts and dreams

- tells jokes that make us laugh (and her too)

- melts my heart with her smile (when the smile is genuine, this one never gets old)
