It's Canadian Down Syndrome Week, and we are shouting it from the roof tops, loud and proud! Dan wore his CDSS Canadian Down Syndrome Week t-shirt to work today for casual Friday, I sported mine out at the library, and the girls wore theirs to school.
Our family is in a celebratory mood. Penelope will be four months old tomorrow, and Elyse turns four years old on Tuesday. We're birthday partying it up with family all weekend in her honour:)
When I suggested we go outside so I could take a picture of the crew in their shirts (Penelope was excused for her nap), Elyse was the first to jump up and say, "Yeah, let's do it! Woohoo!"
Woohoo indeed, my sweet birthday girl. You are loved, you are loved.
