31-for-21: On The Go!

See the block tower?  This was a set-up.

Elyse took the bait.  She's on the move.

If only we knew how she got there.  She doesn't exact crawl yet, other than somewhat army style on her tummy.  Through a series of rolls and dives is likely how she made it to that tower.  Dan set up the blocks, walked into the kitchen, and when he came back:  the deed was done.

Truth-be-told, Elyse doesn't need a set-up to motivate her to move these days.  She makes up her own games to get around.  This game, see below, was pretty cute the other day.  I was sitting at our computer desk in the kitchen, while Elyse was playing kitty-corner in our family room.  She made her way through the room off the kitchen and then into the kitchen pushing a toy car around, all the way over to me.  The game goes like this:  push the car - DIVE for it!  Push the car - DIVE for it!  She doesn't hold anything back.  I admire her persistence, drive, and new found love for playing-on-the-go!
